| Born in Oswaldo Cruz, she studied with professor Minininha Lobo in São Paulo. She completed her training at the National Higher School of Music of Warsaw, under the guidance of Professor Jan Ekier |
| She received various awards in Piano competitions including “Young Soloists of the São Paulo Philharmonic,” the “Chopin” award of the National Competition of the newspaper Folha de São Paulo, and the “Lili Kraus” award in the National Piano Competition of Bahia. As a soloist and principally as a chamber musician, she has performed in various concert halls in the country and abroad |
| She recorded various records and CDs including “Sarau Brasileiro” and Brazilian Music Series |
| From 1973 to 1997 she was piano and chamber music professor in the Music Department of the University of Brasilia |
